Beautifully decorated vintage handcrafted footed and embossed with vegetal motif wrought iron casket.

The vintage art metal box comes with lid and key hole with lock but without the key. It carries an incised signature M P 1967BP at the back that I was unable to identify. 1967 may the the year of manufacturing. Interior lining of the box is made of wood fibers panels covered with simili-wood laminate. This a very decorative hand made ornamental ironwork box of rectangular shape with riveted hinged lid and hand wrought, chased and ornate relief designs. It is a spectacular and unique item of unknown origin. It weighs approximately 6 pounds (2.7 Kg).
