Nice vintage original floral painting on canvas signed by the artist. Unfortunately, I am unable to decipher that signature. Oil painting frame is made of wood and the wood mat board is covered with linen that has been painted white. The back of the painting is stamped with Royal Gallery Sherbrooke West in Montreal. Sherbrooke West Street is known for its up-end stores and galleries. This particular painting is the number 6298. Royal Gallery was known to buy many of its paintings from Canadian and European professional artists. |
