This is a rare Ergo miniature 400 Day Anniversary style vintage clock. It is marked Ergo and 8-day clock on the face plate, and West Germany under the base. It is a rare and complete mechanical mid-century 400-day clock. It comes with its original wire suspension, keys and dome screws. The dome and the base are made of plastic. It is functional and runs quite well.

According to the site indicated below this torsion clock is an 8-day disc pendulum Gebrüder Staiger torsion clock made in the 1950's and 1960's. It is a true mechanical clock.

Dimensions: The clock with dome is approx.15 cm or 6" tall and the plastic base is approx.10 cm or 4" across.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Traces of wear on gilded base. Complete will all original pieces.Two small plastic feet broken under the base but this doesn't affect its functioning.
