Antique very young girl hand made and embroidered rustic linen half apron probably more than a century old. It is decorated with a delicate band of lace of the same colour. It is embroidered in English with the words "A stitch in time saves nine". It certainly was a inexperienced young girl's work who was not entirely mastering the technique. It probably dates from the Victorian period. 

Dimensions: 40 inches wide from one waistband to the other and 17 inches tall. 

Condition: Good condition for such an old item. Tiny rust staines and fabric a little dry.
