Early California tooth tablet rectangular milk glass container with tin cover: a dental product made by the American California Perfume Company, New York. between 1901 and 1906.  The container is pre-1906 because below the words "New York" on the tin's face, the 1906 Food and Drug Act information is missing. Writing on the lid: Makes the Teeth Pearl White and the Gums Hard and Healthy Removes the Tartar Arrests Decay Strictly Pure. On the lid sides is written: Wet the Brush - Rub on theTablet and Apply - Use Flannel for - Tender Gums until Healed. This was a high-end product for the wealthy and it is rare to find such an early product today. California Perfume Co. became Avon.

Dimensions: 7,5 cm (3") X 5 cm (2") measured from the largest middle part.

Condition: The tin lid top and sides of this very early dental piece have paint loss and some writing is difficult to read. Otherwise it is in very good condition and the lid fits snugly.
