Pair of French antique white linen napkin cases or hankies pouches with delicate handmade embroidered decor. They are probably from the beginning of the XXth century c. 1920-30.The two napkin holders are very similar but they differ by some details of the embroidered motif. One has big raised dots and the other has delicate eyelets. The embroidered edge is also different. They were probably used by two persons in the same home and the difference helped recognize one's own. Also, they are not exactly the same size. Very good quality linen. See also B866.
Size: 17.5 cm wide and 14.5 cm tall for the one with dots and 17.5 cm wide and 13 cm tall for the one with eyelets.
Condition: Very good condition. No damage.
