Vintage hand colored ceramic bisque standing camel with a matte unglazed multicolored surface. Biscuit porcelain or bisque is unglazed, white porcelain with a matte appearance and texture to the touch. It has been widely used in European pottery, mainly for decorative objects that do not need a glaze for protection.
The term "biscuit" refers to any type of fired but unglazed porcelain, ceramic or earthenware. I don't know what exactly this biscuit figurine is made of. It is hand colored and unsigned.
Dimensions: 16 cm long, 6,5 cm wide and approx. 13 cm tall.
Condition: Very good condition. No damage but some surface soiling due to use.
Smoke-free environment. Shipping fees always combined on multiple purchase.
NOTE: All our products are antique or vintage. We strive to purchase and present only items in good to near-mint condition, but most pieces will show some degree of wear that we try to describe and show in our pictures.
