Early 20th century fully adjustable brass gooseneck table lamp. The single light table lamp retains the original nicely aged surface.The frosted glass hand painted shade is not original to the lamp but is an exquisite complement to the brass base, accenting the Art Nouveau style of this 1920s office desk or table lamp. The lamp base contains a weighted cast iron base with brass cover and extended pliable rod with elegant rope motif. The socket has been replaced and the lamp rewired. The socket is marked S & S and 660W - 250 V. The brass shade holder light fixture is a 2 1/4" fitter. It is marked UNO and PAT. DEC 1924. Light fixture screws are original and thread properly. Cord 134,5 cm (53") long.
Dimensions: Total lenght with shade 62 cm (24 1/2"); brass base 14 cm (5 1/2") across; shade 13 cm (5 1/8") long and 10,5 cm (4 1/8") across; the brass shade holder light fixture is a 2 1/4" fitter. Screws thread well.
Condition: Very good vintage condition considering age. A few bruising marks. Functional. Please look carefully at the pictures.
