Large round bronze black and brass finished pair of vintage bookends from the 1940's. The bas-relief scene mounted on wood base represents a beautifully detailed duck flying over a marsh bordered with cattails.  Black and brass surface finish has some wear but is still bright and vivid. Inscribed on front P.Leroux (artist) and Bel Art for Bel Art Modern Giftware and original felt backs and bottoms. I could not find a lot about this company other than these were made in the U.S. and sold by Bel Art Modern Giftware store.

Great vintage condition appropriate with age. Light wear on black and bronze finish and a few scratches on wood base.
