Woven wall hanging or free standing splint basket with pegs and hand painted nautical motif signed Karen Traub 1999.
Very original woven split wood Karen Traub Originals basket with wooden handle and three pegs to be used as a wall or free standing basket. It still has its original wooden round tag dated 1999 and is hand decorated with a nautical motif. The piece is very decorative and convenient to store all sorts of small items. It can also be used as a planter. This is a very interesting hand made folk art object.
Dimensions: 32.5 cm (8 7/8") tall overall, basket 15.5 cm (6 1/4") tall, 21 cm (8 1/4" wide and 11 cm (4 3/8") deep.
Condition: In very good condition. Nothing broken. Handle is in the middle of basket and necessitates a long hook.
