These vintage straight slightly flared wall cereal or berry bowls by Hazel Atlas are part of the Ovide line in the Hazel Atlas Platonite glass. In 1936, Hazel-Atlas introduced a type of glass called Platonite, which was semi-opaque and is often mistaken for milk glass. Patterns made with Platonite glass could be fired in any number of colors. The colors are red maroon, dark green, grey (looks bluish on main picture) and yellow. They date from the 1950s.
Dimensions : Approx. 12.5 cm (4 7/8") across at the top and 6 cm (2 3/8") tall.
Condition: Very good vintage condition. Very small signs of wear. See pictures.The color covers the inside and the outside of the bowls except the bottom.
