Exquisite mid-century Murano clown End of Day glass decanter made in Italy during the 1950s-1960s period. This art glass collectible is of great quality. It is hand blown and made of vivid colors artistically used. The transparent glass clown belly has wavy yellow lines, applied clear glass arms and hands in perfect condition and a nice amber collar. The multicolor bow tie and hat center have the same colors. The clear glass face has red and white applied mouth, nose and eyes. This carafe is typical of the mid-century era and very well executed.
Pontil mark on the base. It is not signed. It is a unique and very collectible piece.
Dimensions : 33 cm (13") tall with stopper, 14 cm (5 1/2") across at the middle, capacity approx. 20 fl. oz.
Condition : Excellent vintage condition. No damage but 2 very small and shallow chips at the base of the stopper.
No smoking environment. Shipping fees combined for multiple purchase.
