This is a wonderfully handcrafted ceramic jar with lid, 2 decorative handles and a cobalt blue pineapple motif with Melrose and letters MA on one side. It is masterfully done and the colours are wonderful. Although it is not old, it certainly fits well with antique pottery pieces by the style and the colours. It is signed and dated by an artist from Westerward Pottery in Pennsylvania. Westerwald specializes in personalized pieces, each stamped and cobalted by hand.
It is ideal storage for small items, and a great piece to add to a collection or just to add a touch of authentic country charm to your decor.
