Small vintage alabaster Art Deco design dresser box or trinket box with lid. It is genuine alabaster that has been hand carved in Italy according to the sticker label underside of the box. The shape evokes an hour glass. It is very sober and modernist in style and the green finial on top completes it beautifully. It probably dates around the 1930-1940 Art deco period. A nice and probably unique collectible.

Dimensions: 7 cm (2 3/4") tall, 10.5 cm (4 1/8") tall with finial; approx. 8 cm (3 1/8") across.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Minor signs of wear around cover. The finial seems to have been punched several times.
