Small display very fine linen hand towel featuring an exquisite damasked pattern of white on light green chrysanthemums. The floral design is intricately woven with exquisite craftsmanship. This quality of weaving is rarely seen. Both edges are woven and each end is decorated with drawn work and a hemstitch border. This show towel is antique and the chrysanthemum motif is a Victorian one The hand towel is adorned with a green hand embroidered R R monogram. A rare piece to add to a collection.
