Beautiful and unique large smoky blue art glass centerpiece with large M mark.
This gorgeous charger looks like a Scandinavian mid-century art glass piece with its smoky blue colour, textured and embossed glass surface and modernist design It probably dates from the 60's or 70's. I was unable to verify the origin of the large fused M mark in the center but it could be Muurla, Murano or the signature of the artist. The glass sheet is thick (about 3/16") and its thickness is uniform all over. This is a distinctive, unique item produced in an art studio. It is both very decorative and collectible.
Dimensions: 13 1/2" across and 3 1/2" tall.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. No damage other that normal rubbing wear on bottom.
