Set of white linen liturgical cloths having been used at the altar during the celebration of masses.

We call liturgical cloths or sacred cloths, the cloths which can touch the Holy Species during the communion. The sacred cloths (corporal, purificatory, manuterge, pale) are generally made of linen, but they can be hemp or cotton. They must be of high quality, made with care. They are embroidered with a cross to signify that their use is exclusively reserved for Mass. THE PRICE IS FOR THE SET.

Two of the sacred linens in this set of three are marked with a cross:

1-Rectangle of very fine white linen hemmed by hand, It measures 21 cm X 58 cm. Not marked.

2-Rectangular panel in fine white linen marked with a cross in its central upper part and featuring an embroidered eyelet in each of the 4 corners. Machine hem. It measures 55cm X 65cm.

3-Rectangular panel in fine white linen with an embroidered cross in the center. Eyelets embroidered in the 2 upper corners. Machine hem. It measures 44 cm X 92 cm 

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. Some translucent marks, probably from candles.
