Classy tablecloths used to be white damask. In the 1950s new fabric designers created a new style for table and home décor and manufacturer produced high-end fabric creations. This high quality durable cotton double damask tablecloth has a unique chinoiserie-style oriental decor. The fabric is thick, a little like a modern cotton barkcloth. It is greyish-blue and white and reversible.
This blue and white colored damask is suitable for dinner settings and would look gorgeous with white or pastel dinnerware. Figural damask is rare and this figural oriental pattern tablecloth is particularly attractive and collectible. This is a fine jacquard woven damask piece of fabric smooth to the touch and the pattern stands out clearly. This tablecloth sits six people.
