Antique vintage wide-mouthed covered and ornamented porcelain apothecary tobacco jar with humidor probably made in France in the 1930s as indicates its wonderful art deco style red, black and gold decor. It is marked Tabac (Tobacco) in gothic-style letters inside a letter block. The manufacturer is probably Limoges or Porcelaine de Paris. These costly high-end jars were often replaced by cheaper glass or pottery pharmacy containers.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Lightly used with minor cosmetic wear. Some rubbing on top finial and middle circle and gold missing on top rim under the lid.
Smoke-free environment. Shipping fees always combined on multiple purchase.
NOTE: All our products are antique or vintage. We strive to purchase and present only items in good to near-mint condition, but most pieces will show some degree of wear that we try to describe and show in our pictures.
