Mid-century modern op art pure white matte porcelain vase produced by Kaiser Porzellan in the 1960s-1970s. It is very representative of the Op Art movement with its angular vertically ribbed shape. The vase has an outside matte bisque-like finish and it is glazed on the inside. It carries the AK Kaiser maker’s mark with the word Germany and the impressed number 0288. It is signed M. Frey. AK Kaiser was known for the high quality of its porcelain products.
Dimensions:
5 1/8” tall at the front and 5 ½” at the back; 6 ¼” wide body and 2 3/8” X 2 1/2'” at the base.
