Rare old wooden rocking blotting pad from the Art Nouveau period decorated with embossed pewter daisies placed on a sheet of pink lucite plastic which brings out the color. The daisies are decorated in the center with a garnet-colored stone. It is a very refined decor. A few stones are missing. The tin sheets of the handle and the blotting pad are secured with small brass nails. Very nice collector's item from the early 1900s.

Length 16.5 cm (6 1/2"), width 7 cm (2 3/4") and height with handle 6.5 cm (2 1/2").
