Vintage Abenakis pottery butter dish dating 1969 made in Canada by Beauceware ceramic company.

This very rare Canadian art pottery dish bears the number 2494. It is dark brown with a matt finish and a undulating bright red glaze line. Very rare collectible piece of Beauceware design pottery butter dish. Probably designed by Doug Funk for the Ontario market.

Measurements: Overall with lid 4" (10 cm) tall, lid 4 3/4" (12 cm) and base 6 7/8" (17,5 cm) across. 

Condition: The piece is in excellent as new condition without chips, cracks or other damage
