This beautiful Rimini Blue vintage table lamp in the colours so cleverly used at Bitossi Ceramiche under the direction of Aldo Londi is made of glazed ceramic and has a particularly interesting mid-century look.
It probably dates around the 1960’s or 1970’s and still holds its original “Made in Italy” label. The large molded medallions band around the centre of the lamp has an uncommon matt textured finish. All the rest is brightly glazed in various shades of blue and green with a touch of yellow and decorated with hand incised linear motifs. The tall lamp is mounted on a wooden circular base and there is a wooden neck at the top. The slightly conical cylindrical shade is perfectly assorted to the lamp and is the original one. It is spectacular with its wavy lines of rick-rack thread glued on the surface of the shade. This typical Rimini Blue lamp has been tested and is functional.
THIS COLLECTIBLE LAMP IS LARGE AND HEAVY. IF YOU WANT IT TO BE SHIPPED PLEASE ASK FOR A SHIPPING QUOTE.
