Pair of beautiful folk art cut wood frames handmade in Quebec. They are made of an openwork ornemental design hand cut in a solid varnished golden color piece of wood (fret work), possibly maple, nailed to a dark brown solid piece of plywood that enhances its color. Nails are visible on top and serve as decorations. The nail size used is different from one frame to the other. This is a beautiful pair of handmade wooden frame in the Art Deco style of the 1940s. They are unique.

Dimensions: outside 32.5 X 27.5 (12 1/2" X 14 3/4"), inside 19.5 cm X 24 cm (7 5/8" X 9 1/2").

Condition: Very good vintage condition. Come without a glass. Nothing to hang them. Probably never used.
