Beauceware fruit cake box No. G-34 made for the Vachon Company in the 1960's
Very nice Beauceware lidded cake box or soufflé mold made in St Joseph de Beauce, Quebec, Canada in the mid-60s. It has been designed by ceramist Jacques Garnier for the Vachon Company of St Marie de Beauce.
With high edges, ceramic of quality and practical handles, the covered dish also has it all for a soufflé or oven casserole. Prepare a soufflé for 4 to 6 people in no time, with this generously sized dish.
Measurements: 8 3/4" (22.5 cm) across at top, 8" (20.5 cm) at bottom, 4 1/4" (11 cm) tall without the lid.
Condition: Excellent used condition. Tow tiny unglazed spots on ouside wall. No damage. Color appears lighter than what it really is because I used a flash to prevent light reflexion
