Sial stoneware 6 cm (2 3/8") shooters or shot glasses.
They are pieces of the Oval Dinner Service designed by Gaétan Beaudin and bear the Sial stamp. Warm earth tone speckled rust glaze with tenmoku brown typical of Sial as the complementry colour. They have a mid-century Danish modern influence. A style still much appreciated today. You may combine these tumblers with other Sial items in the same colors in this store. THE PRICE IS FOR A PAIR.
The SIAL set of dishes is probably the most extensive and important tableware design produced for industry in Canada, where over 25 pieces combine to make a large, adaptable service for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
The Sial dinnerware represents one of the greatest aesthetic achievements of the Quebec and Canadian semi-industrial pottery design. Sial synthetized beautifully craft and commercial techniques. Several Canadian museums have pieces of the Sial Pottery in their collection.
