Collectible pair of vintage Canadian sterling silver napkin rings, circa 1920-1950’s. Stamped Sterling with maker’s mark for Roden Bros. Ltd, that is a lion passant with R and 925. Roden Brothers was a Canadian tableware design and manufacturing company founded in 1891 in Toronto. In the 1910s the firm became known as Roden Bros. Ltd.The Company was taken over by Birks Jewelers in 1953. Each napkin ring is engraved with a name, that of a man Georges for one and a woman Gaby for the other.
Each measures approximately 1 3/4” in diameter x 7/8” wide and the combined total weight is 22 grams.
They have typical minor signs of use or wear, and one has a small bump. Otherwise in good condition.
