Typical Canadian Pattern Wool blanket made by a talented weaver in the 1970s or 1980 when there was such a strong revival of traditional techniques for the weaving of textiles. Unique design with traditional Canadian animal symbols such as deers or caribous and hares with foliage and festooned bands on the four sides. Fringe on top and bottom. Technique used is typical of Quebec weavers. Colors are black and a vibrant yellow-orange typical of a mid-century period.
A collector’s blanket that you might also like to use as a sofa or daybed throw.
Dimensions : 55 inches X 82 inches
État/Condition : Good vintage condition. Small repair as shown on a photo and some wear to fringed borders. Overall a blanket that has been well taken care of.
Smoke-free environment. Shipping fees always combined on multiple purchase.
NOTE: All our products are antique or vintage. We strive to purchase and present only items in good to near-mint condition, but most pieces will show some degree of wear that we try to describe and show in our pictures.
