This lovely antique baby’s plate by The Foley Potteries is depicting Little Red Riding Hood meeting the wolf. The text says “Where are you going to my pretty maid? I’m going to grandma’s sir she said.” Baby’s Plate is written on the flat rim. Mark is written in black “The Foley – semi-porcelain- England” along with a Registry mark Rd 397893. The Foley became Shelley in 1925.
This antique earthenware rhyme plate is very collectible.

It is in very good used condition with some wear to the gilt edging at the rim. See photos
